 Sabang, Palawan budget travel guide
Palawan is for Nature lovers. Humanity clings to the fringes of this vast Island chain. Outside of Puerto Princessa things can get pretty basic with electricity limited to 4 hours a day in some places.
 We went to Sabang and stayed at the Blue Bamboo cottages. Tastefully decorated sea front cottages with bathroom and balcony set in a Pineapple garden are 300 pesos a night. There's a bar and restaurant and a trolls bridge for effect
 Close by is the Underground river which is quite expensive but worth a visit.
 In the evenings you can help the fishermen drag in the boats and have a good Tanduay session with them afterwards.
I enjoyed my few days on Palawan but missed the creature comforts of city life
