Guimaras Island is a 25-minute boat trip out of Iloilo. Guimaras is Mango country. The Island is dotted with beautiful secluded beaches.

The ferry from the port in Iloilo costs 25 pesos. It brings you to Jordan (population approx 5000). From here you can get a jeep south or arrange private hire to your destination. theres always tricycle and taxi's and jeeps in abundance an Jordan pier
 We reccomend Alubihod . The beach here is beautiful. Theres a five star hotel for meals and sari stores for drinks and snacks .

The Picnic tables beside the beach are 150 pesos for the day and there are beachside cottages to rent for about 600 pesos per night
A day trip here from Iloilo is a must ... Even if you don't plan on spending the night here
